Up to date Beacon Network of continuous Information Flow
"The nearest neighbour, who knows about almost everything you need to know, is possibly your closest luminaire."
In 2007 the emergence of the 1st i-phone, afforded the mobile phone, initially merely restricted to communication between individuals, an unprecedented multi-functionality, which displaced the focus of its main value towards a continuous geo-located data flow and a new era of data-driven decisions.
Respectively, the smart lighting revolution has already established a connection of public lighting to IoT, converting ubiquitous lighting fixtures to nodes of a data exchange with a profound geopolitical repercussion. In this new era we try to remain loyal to the timeless values of qualitative lighting, utilizing the emerging information potential for the purposes of lighting, for instance, in order to conduct maintenance operations, control the condition of poles (change of inclination due to a collision or a vulnerable foundation recorded by an accelerometer) and prevent accidents or adjust lighting to the changing needs of a volatile traffic and/or weather.
It is of vital importance for us to prevent any kind of deterioration because of the intrusion of new technologies into the field of lighting. In this regard we offer secure (as light can’t trespass through the physical environment) and independent from congested radio frequencies Li Fi communication solutions of flicker-free lighting without compromising the dimming range of illuminance.
Over the course of this continuous evolution we attach particular importance to the interoperability of the respective Lighting Control System Infrastructure, remaining adaptive to a wide range of applied protocols from DALI and DMX to SR-Sensor Ready and DEXAL and receptive to various network technologies from RF, Wi-Fi and LTE to Powerline.
Thus, we extend the range of retrieved data from various connected sensors and are ready to benefit from advanced Machine Learning Platforms and make Lighting as a Service a routine process.
